Power supply failure

Symptom
The device cannot be powered on, and the power LED (PWR0/PWR1) on the front panel is off.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
1.
Power off the device.
2.
Verify that the power supply is as required by the device.
3.
Verify that the power cords of the device are firmly connected.
4.
Verify that the power cords are not damaged.
5.
If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.

Configuration terminal display problem

Symptom
The configuration terminal displays nothing or garbled text when the device is powered on.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
1.
Verify that the power supply system is operating correctly.
2.
Verify that the console cable is correctly connected.
3.
Verify that the console cable is connected to the serial port that is configured for the
configuration terminal.
4.
Verify that the configuration terminal parameters are configured as follows:
Baud rate—9600.
Data bits—8.
Parity—None.
Stop bits—1.
Flow control—None.
Terminal emulation—VT100.
5.
Verify that the console cable is in good condition.
6.
If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
