Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
Room gets too hot
Radiator will
not turn o
Radbot 1 will not
respond to controls
Rapid flashing
LED and no other
activity
Room temperature
control seems
strange.
Valve is loose on
radiator.
REASON
Batteries have run out
Radbot 1 has not been
tightened su ciently to valve so the
pin is unable to close the valve
Radbot 1 has not been
tightened su ciently to
valve - pin not able to close
valve
Batteries depleted
Device is mal-functioning due to
hardware/software fault
Batteries were left flat
or out for an extended
period, or the device
was moved to a new
room, and the device
has to re-learn time of
day and room use.
The device cannot
function due to
obstruction or blocking.
Retaining ring has
not been tightened
su ciently.
Pin was not fully
retracted during
installation.
SOLUTION
Replace with new batteries
Check connection and if loose,
push down Radbot 1 and tighten
retaining nut
Check connection and if loose,
push down Radbot 1 and tighten the
retaining nut
Replace with new batteries
Check with customer support
The device will re-learn over the
course of a few days.
Replace batteries before they
are completely exhausted
Check device is not covered by
objects (e.g. curtains) and ensure
adequate air circulation around
device.
Tighten retaining ring.
If still loose remove and reinstall
Radbot checking valve adaptor.
