SYSTEM PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS
3.1
In-circuit test
Due to the limitations of functional (input/output) testing and the number of components
that do not have direct effect on functional performance (EMI capacitors, RC time con-
stants, etc.), it is mandatory that the PCB assembly be in-circuit tested at component level
(nonpowered) to confirm all surface mount resistor and capacitor values.
3.2
Power-up
Ground all 6 audio input signals.
Disconnect the loads from the audio outputs.
Ground all 3 mute inputs to mute the amplifiers.
Apply AC mains voltage to the primary of the transformer, and wait 100 ms for the power
supplies on the amplifier pcb to stabilize.
Confirm power-up of the transformer and power supply section by measuring the following
(with respect to ground at J700 pin 11). If any of the following tests fail, shut down AC
mains voltage immediately.
