Parameters
interface-type: Specifies an interface type.
interface-number: Specifies an interface number.
interface-number.subnumber: Specifies a subinterface number, where interface-number is a main
interface (which must be a Layer 3 Ethernet interface) number; subnumber is the number of a subinterface
created under the interface. The value range for the subnumber argument is 1 to 4094.
Usage guidelines
Before collecting traffic statistics for a specific period of time on an interface, clear the old statistics first.
If no interface type is specified, this command clears statistics for all interfaces.
If only the interface type is specified, this command clears statistics for all interfaces of that type.
If both the interface type and the interface or subinterface number are specified, this command clears
statistics for the specified interface or subinterface.
Examples
# Clear the statistics of GigabitEthernet 3/0/1.
<Sysname> reset counters interface GigabitEthernet 3/0/1
