To adjust the master gamma
Move the arrow (t) to the middle column, change the
arrow to ?, and turn the right-hand control in the multi-
function setting section.
To adjust the gamma level for R, G, and B
individually
Move the arrow (t) to the numeric value on the
lowest column, change the arrow to ?, and turn the
three controls in the multi-function setting section to
adjust the R, G, and B signals individually.
Adjusting the black gamma <B.Gamma>
Select B.Gamma in the Paint menu. You can then
adjust the master black gamma and the black gamma
level for the R, G, and B signals individually.

arrow to ?, and turn the right-hand control in the multi-
function setting section.
When you turn the middle control, you can specify the
adjustable range of the video signals.

Move the arrow (t) to the numeric value on the
lower column, change the arrow to ?, and turn the
three controls in the multi-function setting section to
adjust the R, G, and B signals individually.

Amount of effect of the knee function.

Adjusting the knee <Knee>
Select Knee in the Paint menu to display the items in
the Knee menu.
When the input signal level exceeds a given value, the
knee function compresses the signal so that it remains
within the standard video signal range.

To set the knee slope
Move the arrow (t) to Slope, change the arrow to ?,
and turn the three controls in the multi-function setting
section to adjust the R, G, and B signals individually.

To set the knee point
Move the arrow (t) to Point, change the arrow to ?,
and turn the three controls in the multi-function setting
section to adjust the R, G, and B signals individually.
To set the master knee slope
Move the arrow (t) to M.Knee, change the arrow to
?, and turn the right-hand control (corresponding to [S]
in the picture monitor) in the multi-function setting
section. The master knee slope for the R, G, and B
signals are adjusted simultaneously.
To set the master knee point
Move the arrow (t) to M.Knee, change the arrow to
?, and turn the middle control (corresponding to [P] in
the picture monitor) in the multi-function setting
section. The master knee point for the R, G, and B
signals are adjusted simultaneously.
To turn on or off the knee max function
Move the arrow (t) to Kn.MAX, change the arrow to
?, and turn the left-hand control in the multi-function
setting section to turn the function on or off.
When you turn the knee max function on, the knee
slope goes completely flat to facilitate the tracking
adjustment of the knee point.

Point at which the knee function starts to have effect.
