4 Multi-function setting section
Contains three controls for adjusting paint items in the
table below.
Press the paint item selector repeatedly towards v until
the row containing the paint items to be adjusted lights
up. Each of the three items in the row can be adjusted
by the respective control (rotary knob) underneath.
When the selector is set to LOCK, the controls are
disabled and item settings do not change, even if the
controls are turned accidentally.
Item Function
ECS Selects shutter mode and speed.
SATURATION Adjusts saturation.
SAT ON/OFF Turns saturation on and off.
M GAMMA Adjusts master gamma.
Adjusts master black gamma.
M BLK GAMMA
Adjusts V-modulation shading.
V MOD SAW
R FLARE
Adjusts R flare balance.
G FLARE Adjusts G flare balance.
B FLARE Adjusts B flare balance.
DTL LEVEL Adjusts detail level.
KNEE POINT Adjusts knee point.
KNEE SLOPE Adjusts knee slope.

5 AUTO SETUP switch/indicator
Automatically sets master black level, gamma level,
knee point level, knee slope level, and flare level
simultaneously.
When this switch is set to START, the AUTO SETUP
indicator lights green and automatic adjustment starts.
When automatic adjustment is completed, the indicator
goes off.
To cancel automatic adjustment
Set the switch to BREAK. The AUTO SETUP
indicator flashes red and item settings that were in
effect before automatic adjustment started are restored.
Set the switch to BREAK again to turn off the
indicator.
