Description of the key functions

4.3 Description of the Key Functions
HOLD
Data Hold to freeze a measurement value, if e.g. the display
is not visible. Deactivate by pressing this key again.
If the hold function is activated the following functions
or keys are not disabled: ON/OFF, backlight, MEM,
CLEAR, SEND.
SHIFT + HOLD = SEND (only Therm 300)
Data transfer (only possible when using the data cable and
software, optionally available). Send memorized data via the
serial interface. If the data transfer is active, the "SEND"
symbol is displayed on the screen.
The function is disabled during activated data recor-
ding.
REL
To display the relative value, e.g. set the display to zero, to
determine the relative value with reference to a measure-
ment value. This function is deactivated when pressing the
key again.
The relative value display is disabled if the following
functions or keys are selected: HOLD, REC.
The selection of the relative value display deactivates
the following functions: MIN/MAX display and alarm
function.
MIN/MAX
For additional display of maximum and minimum value du-
ring the measurement process. Return to standard mode
when pressing the MAX/MIN key again.
The display of MIN and MAX values is disabled when
selecting the following functions or pressing the keys:
HOLD, REC.
