Graphics Configuration Considerations
Graphics Configuration Considerations
When upgrading your system from a C100/110 to a C160L there are certain
graphics configuration considerations that you must be aware of. Make sure
that you read and fully understand the information in this section before con-
tinuing with the upgrade.
•
Graphics adapters may only be installed in slots 1 and 2 of the upgraded system.
•
The A4244A HP Visualize-48 graphics adapter must be reconfigured to a
A4211A by a Hewlett-Packard service representative.
•
The EVC adapter cable is required to connect your monitor to the Visualize-EG
built-in graphics.
The following graphics adapters are not supported in the upgraded C160L:
•
A4077A Color Graphics Card
•
A4078A Dual Color Graphics Card
•
A4079B HCRX-8Z 8-plane Z-Buffered Graphics Adapter
•
A4071B HCRX-24Z 24-Plane Z-Buffered Graphics Adapter with an A4072A
Accelerator Card.
