Replacing the Main Chassis Fan
Removing the Fan
1 Switch off the display and PC. Disconnect all power cables and any LAN
or telecommunications cables.

Remove the PC's cover (refer to page 25 for instructions).
3 Lay the minitower on its
side.
4 Disconnect the fan cable
from the system board.
5 From inside the PC, use a
screwdriver to gently push out the four plastic studs, then remove the
fan.
Replacing the Fan
Ensure that all cables are clear of the fan and will not easily come into
contact with the fan during normal use or following transportation.

Align the fixation holes in the fan with the holes in the chassis.

Insert the four plastic studs provided with the new fan.
3 Connect the fan cable to the main chassis fan connector on the system
board (refer to page 58 for location).
4 Replace the PC's cover (refer to page 25). Reconnect all the power and
telecommunications cables.
