Replacing the Processor

1 Remove the computer's cover (described in this chapter).
2 If you have a minitower, lay it on its side.
3 Remove the airflow guide.

4 Remove the old processor.

Press firmly on the side
as shown until the
airflow guide comes free
on one side, then lift it
out.
Squeeze firmly on both
sides and lift the airflow
guide out.
