2. Remove the control electronic/fascia panel assembly. See Section 060-4.4.
3. Connect the control electronic to the appliance using the 10-pin wiring
harness. The ribbon cable cannot stay connected to the fascia panel.
Note:
Make sure that there is no electrical contact or connection between the
selection electronic and the appliance casing.
4. Shut off the power.
5. Secure the fiberoptic cable to the electronic using, e.g., a Tesa power
strip.
6. Confirm the message ".... Repeat the update process?" with "Yes".
Update will be carried out.

Delay Start Cannot Be Selected

Cause:
The temperature in the cavity is still higher than 176°F. If, for example, meat
is left in a warm oven and the cooking process is not started for a while, then
bacteria could settle on the food and easily multiply. To prevent this, Delay
start will not be an available option.
Remedy:
None.
3.27

End Time Not Displayed

Symptom:
End time not displayed.
Cause:
Cavity is still warmer than 113°F.
Remedy:
Let the cavity cool down longer. Once the cavity temperature drops below
113°F, the end time will be displayed again.

Appliance Must Be Descaled Frequently

Cause:
Software fault.
Remedy:
Carry out a firmware update to ID 2271 or higher, or install a new control
electronic with ID 2217 or higher.

Diagnostic Support Cannot Establish a Connection

Symptom:
The connection via the optical interface cannot be established.
