I Cartridge holder does not move to the left side
You want to switch the BJ cartridge, replace an ink tank, or replace the BJ cartridge, but the
cartridge holder does not move to the left side when you open the front cover.

HECK S THE PRINTER TURNED ON
Check the POWER light and make sure that it is green. If the POWER light
is off, turn on the printer.
If you have just turned on the printer and the POWER light flashes green,
the printer is warming up. Wait until the POWER light stops flashing.

HECK AS THE FRONT COVER BEEN OPEN LONGER THAN
If the front cover remains open longer than 10 minutes, the cartridge
holder automatically returns to the home position to prevent the print head
from drying out.
Close the front cover and open it again. The cartridge holder moves to the
left side.
