    Menu operations Navigate and perform menu operations on the control panel as follows. After the printer starts up, the Tab Selection screen is shown on the Display Screen . Information is organized in four tabs, and you can press control panel buttons to access menus and set or execute items for each tab.

    Attaching the Roll Holder to Rolls Attach the roll holder to rolls as follows. When printing on rolls, attach the Roll Holder to the roll. Rolls have a two- or three-inch paper core. Use the correct attachment for the paper core. The printer comes equipped with the 2-Inch Paper Core Attachment installed.

  • Page 28 Replacing Ink Tanks Press the OK button and insert the Ink Tank into the holder with the ink hole facing down, as shown. • Ink tanks cannot be loaded in the holder if the color or orientation is incorrect. If the Ink Tank does not fi t in the holder, do not force it into the holder. Make sure the color of the Ink Tank Lock Lever matches the color of the Ink Tank , and check the orientation of the Ink Tank before reloading it.

    Attach the packaging material to the used Maintenance Cartridge and put it in the box. Keep it level as you put it in the plastic bag. Expel excess air from the plastic bag and seal the zipper. Confi rm the Maintenance Cartridge is right-side up, put it in the box, and store it so that it stays level.
