3. Product Installation

3 PRODUCT INSTALLATION
QSW-6900-56LF series Ethernet switch must be used and fixed in the room.
Make sure you have carefully read part 2, and be sure that the requirements set forth in part
2 have been met.

3.1 Installation Procedure

Connect external port cables or fibers of various modules

3.2 Installation Verification

Carefully plan and arrange the installation location, networking mode, power supply, and wiring
before installation. Verify the following requirements before installation:
❖ The installation location provides sufficient space for heat dissipation.
❖ The installation location meets the temperature and humidity requirements of the
equipment.
❖ The qualified power supply and current required are available at the installation location.
Preparation
Install the cabinet
Mount the device into the cabinet
Ground the system
Connect the power supply
Insert various modules
Bind cables or fibers
Installation check
