This Quick Start Guide will guide you how to install and configure the TeleEye MX721-HD / MX821-HD Network Camera

for remote video monitoring.

Camera Installation

Step 1.

After mounting the camera on the wall or ceiling, connect the Ethernet cable to the LAN adapter and

the 12VDC power supply to the power cable if PoE is not available.

Step 2.

Start sureSIGHT or a web browser to start a remote video

monitoring in order to adjust the camera.

[Reference] Please refer to the following sections to understand how to

start video monitoring.

Step 3.

After removing the camera cover, loosen the screws to

adjust the viewing angle of the camera.

Step 4.

Tighten the screws to fix the direction of the camera

module. Finally , close the camera cover.

Page 2 IP Setup Utility Step 1. After installing sureSIGHT and turning on the Network Camera, select the “Run TeleEye IP Setup Utility” from the windows start menu. Step 2. Search the target camera by its serial number, highlight the corresponding row from the list on the left side of the window to select it.
Page 3 Live Monitoring with Web-Browser Step 1. Open a web browser on a PC and type in the IP address of the Network Camera. Step 2. Select the connection type and input the password. [Note] The default password is “000000”. Step 3. Click the [Connect] button to connect the selected video stream.
Page 4 Live Monitoring with sureSIGHT Step 1. After installing sureSIGHT and turning on the Network Camera, select the “Run sureSIGHT Lite” from the windows start menu. Input the password to log-in to the sureSIGHT. [Note] The default password for administrator is “000000”. Step 2.
