This section explains how to clean each part of your printer.
Cleaning the Surface of the
Printer
Note
● Do not use benzine, thinners, or alcohol as a cleaning
agent. They may damage the plastic parts of the printer.
● Do not lubricate your printer with oil.

Turn off your printer by pressing the
power switch.

Wipe the surface of the printer with a
soft cloth lightly moistened with water or
neutral detergent.

Dry the surface of the printer with a dry
soft cloth.

Cleaning Paper Feed Rollers

Clean the paper feed rollers if paper jams occur
frequently.
Note
● You should replace the paper feed rollers if paper jams
keep occurring even after cleaning the paper feed rollers.
For Tray 1

Pull out the tray (1).

Wipe the two paper feed rollers (2)
inside the printer with a wet cloth that
has been wrung out well.

Remove paper loaded in the tray.

Wipe the paper feed roller (3) on the
tray with a wet cloth that has been
wrung out well.

Load paper in the tray.

Push the tray back into the printer.
For MP Tray

Open the MP tray (1) forward by
inserting your fingers into the front
recesses (2).
