HPC-8424 is equipped with 24 hot-pluggable 3.5"/2.5" HDD trays at the front, and 2
hot-pluggable 2.5" HDD trays at the rear. To install disk drives, follow the instructions
below.

The HPC-8424 SE/SA SKU accepts SAS 12/6G, SATA 6G HDDs, and even NVMe
(U.2) SSDs in front 24 HDD bays. The 24 HDD trays all support hot swapping.
1.
Remove the HDD tray from the HDD bay.
2.
Slide one SAS/SATA/NVMe disk drive into the tray and affix it in place with 4
screws.
3.
Return the HDD tray to the chassis, pushing until the handle of the tray returns
to the original position. Right-shift the key latch to lock the HDD tray.
4.
Repeat Steps 1 to 3 to install additional HDDs/SSDs.
HPC-8424 SE/SA 版本皆可同时支持 SAS 12/6G, SATA 6G 硬盘， 以及新一代 NVMe (U.2)
的固态硬盘在前方的 24 个硬盘槽位。这 24 个硬盘托架皆支持热抽换功能。
1.
将硬盘托架从硬盘槽中取出。
2.
将 SAS/SATA/NVMe 硬盘固定于硬盘托架上并锁付四个螺丝固定。
3.
放回硬盘托架，然后握住把手将其推回原处。向右拨动 HDD 托架的门闩，将托
架锁住。
如需安装多个硬盘 / 固态硬盘，请重复操作步骤 1 ~ 3。
