Programme/Type of washing
Textile Guard
For gentle cleaning of water-resistant and breathable fabrics.
We recommend using a mild detergent. Do not use fabric sof-
tener and remove any potential fabric softener residue from the
detergent dispenser before starting.

Select a programme.
Notes
– To run a waterproofing cycle, do not change this
default setting. The programme stops before the
waterproofing cycle.
– If you only want to wash the laundry, deselect the $
Rinse Hold, if necessary. The programme will then not
stop before the waterproofing cycle, and instead runs
through to the end of the programme.
For washing the laundry, use a special detergent for out-

door textiles; add the correct dosage to the left-hand com-
partment in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions. Thoroughly clean the compartment before-
hand.

Start the programme. The programme stops before the
waterproofing cycle (depending on the $ Rinse Hold set-
ting).
For waterproofing the laundry, add the dosage of water-

proofing agent (max. 170 ml) to the dispenser for manual
dosing.
Press the I button to continue the programme. After-

treat the laundry in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
Duvet
For gentle cleaning of microfibre blankets, pillows and clothing
filled with down or synthetic fibres. Wash larger items individu-
ally. We recommend using a small dose of a detergent
designed for delicates.
Hygiene
For cleaning cotton and linen fabrics that have particularly strict
hygienic requirements (e.g. for people with allergies).
