Install the client software

Use the Software Installation Disc to install the client software
applications on your computer.
• Storage System Console
• FileSafe Express and SAN Disk Manager
Installing FileSafe Express will automatically install the SAN Disk
Manager.

Installing the Storage System

After setting up your Altos easyStore M2 storage system, you must
install the Storage System Console on your computer.
To install the Storage System Console:
Before you begin installation of the Storage System Console, refer to
the Storage System Console system requirements on page 18.
1 Place the Altos easyStore M2 Software Installation Disc in the
optical drive of the computer in the same subnet as your storage
system.
2 Start the setup utility for the Storage System Console.
(1) Go to My Computer.
(2) Double-click the optical drive.
