Recovering or restoring the storage
system
You can restore the storage system to its factory default after a system
failure.
To recover or restore the storage system:
1 Power off the system.
2 Remove all hard disk drives. Refer to "Removing hard disk drives or
responding to disk failure" on page 234.
3 Power on the system.
4 Start the Storage System Console. Refer to "Start the Storage
System Console" on page 36.
5 In the left pane, select the name of the storage system, then click
Log On Storage System Manager. The welcome page displays.
