Installation Instructions
Step 7. Dryer airflow
Effective dryer operation requires
appropriate dryer airflow.
The adequacy of the airflow can be
measured by evaluating the static pressure.
Static pressure in the exhaust duct can be
measured with a manometer, placed on the
exhaust duct approximately 1 ft. (30.5 cm)
from the final outlet.
Static pressure in the exhaust duct should
not exceed 7.6 mm water column.
The dryer should be checked while the
dryer is running with no load
Step 8. Connecting the inlet water hose
for steam features
Caution!
The dryer must be connected to the cold
water faucet using the new inlet hose.
Do not use old hoses
Do not overtighten, as it may damage the
coupling.
1. Before installing the dryer turn the cold
water faucet off.
2. Attach the female end of the brass "Y"
connector to the cold water valve on the
washing machine.
3. Connect one of the cold water hoses
to the cold water faucet and the "Y"
connector.
4. Connect the straight end of the hose
provided with the dryer to the other end
of the "Y" connector.
5. Connect the angled end of the fill hose
to the valve on the back of the dryer.
6. Tighten all connections by hand plus 2/3
of a turn with pliers.
7. Turn the water faucets on.
8. Check for leaks around the "Y"
connector, faucets and hoses.
