MPI Socket Installation
Assemble the C2xx0 or C2xx8 Bolster Plate on the secondary side of the PCB using four
bolster plate screws. Align the pin on indicator on the bolster plate with pin one on the
PCB. Torque screws to 10 in-lbs or tighten 1/8 to ¼ turn past screw seating on PCB. Ensure
that each screw has plastic washer on each side of the hex nut.

Clean LGA pads on the PCB with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) wipes. Let dry 30 seconds to
evaporate all of the IPA.
Clean LGA pads on the CPU package with Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipes. Let dry 30
seconds to evaporate all of the IPA.
