Failure to wire properly will void the warranty and may result in damage to the machine. It is Gold Medal Products Co.’s recommendation that this machine be plugged directly into a wall outlet. The use of extension cords is not recommended due to safety concerns, and may cause sacrificed and/or reduced performance. - Page 6 4. Pralinator 2181EL, 2181ER, 2181DEL, 2181DER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CONTROLS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS HEAT SWITCH This rocker switch in the “ON” position energizes the heating elements in the bottom of the kettle, and the motor will also turn for 55 seconds of every minute. (It is normal for the motor to stop for 5 seconds of every minute.) - Page 8 PRALINATOR OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Make a solution of (3) parts water to (1) part Gold Medal imitation vanilla (Item # 4515). We recommend making at least 1 gallon of this “vanilla water” solution. (1 qt. of item # 4515 + 3 qts.
