To remove the head restraint,
1. Pull it up to the stop position.
2. While pushing the release button, lift the
head restraints from the guide sleeve.
WARNING
Make sure the head restraints are in
place and adjusted before driving.
FOLDING REAR SEAT BACK*
The rear seat backs can be folded down
separately to increase the luggage space.
Pull up the locking knob on the top of each
split seat back to unlock the seat back, then
fold the seat back forward and down.
To return the seat back to the upright posi-
tion, lift it up and push it firmly into place.
WARNING
• Never pile luggage and other
cargo higher than the front seat
backs. In the event of sudden brak-
ing or collision, they could be
thrown forward and cause injury.
• Do not allow passengers to sit on
the folded-down seat backs while
the vehicle is in motion.
