7–10 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
To add the brake/clutch fluid, first wipe
away any dirt then unscrew the fluid res-
ervoir cap. After removing the cap, top up
the fluid to the MAX mark and tighten the
cap securely afterwards.

Capacity
Change every 30,000km
or 18 months (But, every
0.5L
15,000km or 9 months un-
der severe condition).
Severe Conditions :
Driving in hilly or mountainous terrain.
Towing a trailer frequently.
WARNING
The brake/clutch fluid can irritate
hands and eyes.
• Do not allow brake/clutch fluid to
make contact with skin or eyes.
• If contact happens, rinse affected
areas immediately with plenty of
water.
• If irritation persists, consult a doc-
tor.
WARNING
Keep the brake/clutch fluid out of
reach of children.
WARNING
Used brake/clutch fluid and their
containers can be a hazard to health
and the environment.
• Do not dispose of used brake/
clutch fluid with household waste.
• Use your local authorized waste
disposal facilities.
• Have
the
brake/clutch
fluid
changed by Daewoo Dealer or
Daewoo Authorized Service Opera-
tion.
WARNING
Too much brake/clutch fluid can
spill on the engine. The fluid will
burn if the engine is hot enough. You
or others could be burned and the
vehicle could be damaged.
Do not overfill the fluid.
CAUTION
The brake/clutch fluid systems can
get contaminated and cause loss off
system performance.
Before removing reservoir cap, clean
thoroughly area around cap.
CAUTION
Using of non-recommended brake/
clutch fluid could cause damage to
the brake/clutch system.
Use only Daewoo recommended
brake/clutch fluid.
CAUTION
Brake/clutch fluid damages paint-
work.
• If spillage onto paintwork, wash
with cold water immediately.
