Winter tires
If winter tires are used they must be fitted
to all 4 wheels. Do not exceed the maxi-
mum speed specified by the tire manufac-
turer.
When using winter tires, the tire pressures
supplied by the tire manufacturer must be
adhered to.
WARNING
Using of winter tires could adversely
affect safety and handling of the ve-
hicle.
• Use equivalent size and type to
vehicle's standard tires.
• Change over from winter to sum-
mer tires as soon as road condi-
tion allow.
Snow chains
Regulations regarding the use of tire chains
vary according to location or type of road,
so always check before fitting chains.
When fitting chains on your tires, carefully
follow the instructions of the chain manu-
facturer.
The chain bands may scratch the wheel
covers. Remove the covers before fitting
the chains.
Fit the chains on the front tires as tightly as
possible. The use of chains on the rear tires
is not recommended. Retighten the chains
after driving 0.5~1.0 km.

CAUTION
Using of snow chains could ad-
versely affect vehicle handling.
• Do not exceed 50km/h or the chain
manufacturer's recommended
speed limit, which is lower.
• Avoid sharp turns, bumps and
holes.
• Avoid locked-wheel braking.
CAUTION
Use only SAE class "S" chains.
Other types may damage your ve-
hicle.
