ENGINE OIL
API Classifications of Engine Oil
The American Petroleum Institute classifies
engine oils according to their performance
quality. Always use oil rated API-SJ (ILSAC
GF-II) or better.
Engine
The viscosity should be selected according to outside temperature. Do not switch to
a different viscosity in the event of brief temperature fluctuations.
