Removing Jammed Paper from the ADF (only for the iR1530/iR1570F models)
When print media jams in the ADF, the LCD displays

Gently remove the jammed paper from the document output slot of the ADF.

Open the feeder cover and gently remove the jammed paper from the ADF.

Open the ADF, then pull the paper out straight.
• Open the ADF and make sure there is no document left.
• After removing jammed paper, even edges of the document and reload it in the ADF.
• When the LCD continues displaying the error message, slide the platen unit to the left
and slide it back to the original position, or open and close the toner supply cover.
Removing Jammed Paper from the Stack Bypass
When print media jams in the stack bypass, the LCD displays

Gently remove the jammed paper from the stack bypass.
• Please check any jammed paper inside the machine. (→ p. 6-1)
• When the LCD continues displaying the error message, slide the platen unit to the left
and slide it back to the original position, or open and close the toner supply cover.
