Connection Assignment
Connecting the Supply Voltage
The sensor is connected electrically via a MAIN 8-pin M12 connector plug on the front of the
housing. The power is supplied via this connection. To connect the sensor, proceed as follows:
1.
Plug the M12 8-pin socket into the plug on the front of the housing.
2.
Screw the union nut onto the connector until it reaches the end stop. This ensures that the
power cable cannot be pulled out inadvertently.
Note
It may take several minutes for the sensor to reach a stable operating temperature. Otherwise, it
may result in measurement errors.
