8.6 Foil rewind axle
Foil and material movements are normally
the same. Only during foil saving the print
head is lifted and the foil motor not driven.
Disassembly
1. Loose 3 mounting screw of foil motor
2. unhinge round belt (1) and loosen self
secure nut
3. loosen spring cover part (2)and limiting
part
4. remove spring and break disc as well the
round belt disk (3)
5. loosen both hexagonal screws and re-
move bearing shell, move ribbon axle
(4)outside
Assembly
1. insert ribbon axle and bearing shell, as-
semble round belt disc and break disc
2. spring, limiting part and spring cover part
fix again with self secure nut
3. assemble round belt
