6.4.7 Adjustment print head

Three steps are necessary to properly adjust the print head !
1. Adjustment of x/y parallelism of the print head position in reference to the feed roller
2. The gap between print head and feed roller!
3. Parallelism in y direction using a new head
Step 1 should only be done by trained people – using the therefore necessary tools – and be
aware that doing that step not properly could damage print head and printer as well.

Special tool
Tool 1to adjust x-axis.

Tool 2, to adjust y-axis:
720 part number: 99544-00

Print head and also other components can be destroyed if the adjust-
ment is not done carefully and correct!
