This function allows the units to be linked together to run in a Primary-Secondary set-up. In this
type of set up, one unit will act as the controlling unit, and the others will react to the controlling
units built-in programs. Any unit can act as a Primary or as a Secondary, but only one unit can be
programmed to act as the "Primary."
Primary-Secondary Connections and Settings:
1. Daisy chain your units via the XLR connectors on the rear panel of each unit. Use standard XLR
data cables to link your units together. Remember that the male XLR connector is the input and
the female XLR connector is the ouput. The first unit in the chain (primary) will use the female XLR
connector only, and the last unit in the chain will use the male XLR connector only.
2. Connect the first "Secondary" unit to the "Primary."
3. Set the "Primary" unit to your desired mode of operation.
4. On the "Secondary" units, press the UP or DOWN buttons until "Function" is displayed, and press
ENTER. Press the UP or DOWN buttons until "Disp.Set" is displayed and press ENTER. Press the
UP or DOWN buttons until "Secondry" is displayed and press ENTER.
5. The "Secondary" unit(s) will now follow the "Primary".
6. To exit "Secondary" mode, press the MODE button.
7. To fully exit "Secondary" mode, you will need to follow steps 3 and 4 and set the display to
"ADDR" and press ENTER.
