User modes

You can assign DJ software functions to the Performance Pads on the unit using the MIDI
assigning mode in most types of DJ software.

Using User modes

The unit supports 4 User modes. You can assign functions to 8 pads for each User mode.
This section describes an example of how to use User modes with Serato DJ Pro.
1 Press the Performance Pad 1, 2, 3, or 4 twice while pressing
the [MODE] button and [SHIFT] button.
— Performance Pad 1: Switches to User mode 1.
— Performance Pad 2: Switches to User mode 2.
— Performance Pad 3: Switches to User mode 3.
— Performance Pad 4: Switches to User mode 4.
2 Click [MIDI] on the Serato DJ Pro screen.
Serato DJ Pro switches to MIDI assigning mode.
3 Click a function to assign to a Performance Pad on the unit.
