Adjustments
To adjust the inside height E (Fig. 2), the unit must stand securely on the ground!
The vertical central tube is provided with four bores, which are located at
different height levels and are each offset by 90°.
•
Move the spring bolt upwards by 180° and lock it in place.
This makes the central tube freely rotatable.
•
Turn the centre tube until the hole for the desired height is
turned towards the spring lever.
•
Return spring bolt to starting position
•
Lift the unit slowly (truck-mounted crane) until the desired
immersion depth is reached - the spring bolt engages again.
•
Advantage: With tightly fitting packages, the tongs can be
pressed into the package space.
The holes correspond to the following immersion depths:
•
Hole 1 (rotation 0°) = E 1.100 mm
•
Hole 2 (rotation 90°) = E 1.280 mm
•
Hole 3 (rotation 180°) = E 1.470 mm
•
Hole 4 (rotation 270°) = E 1.650 mm
Pull-out to the desired height (floating position).
By unlocking the spring lever, you can ensure that the tongs retract completely when they are lifted and completely again
when they are lowered.
