4.1.1

Standard flange plate

The device is attached to the lifting equipment/carrier with a standard flange plate or a custom made flange
plate connection.
Attaching the device to the lifting equipment/carrier take care that all local safety regulations are observed.
When attaching the device to a forklift truck, the plate with the transport ring must be unscrewed from the
flange plate. Depending on the case of use, a rotary head/rotary motor can be attached to the flange plate.
This is attached either to a fork sleeve or to a crane boom.
4.1.2

Fork sleeves (optional)

To establish a mechanical connection between the fork lift truck and the fork sleeves you have to put the
forks into the fork sleeves and fix it with the locking bolt or with a chain/rope, connected to the eyelet on the
fork sleeves and the lift equipment / carrier.
It is definitely necessary to establish this connection. Otherwise the device could slide form the forks.

Mounting the optional screw hooks (optional)

When using the optional screw hooks (5) on the
AKZ-UNI-H, ALWAYS mount all 4 screw hooks.
To ensure safe working, the 2 fastening screws of
the screw hooks must each be tightened with a
tightening torque of 85 Nm with an appropriate
tool!
