- Page 8 1. The first step of the installation will be to remove the left hand side plastic seat trim.
- Page 9 2. The plastic trim will have to be modified to allow clearance for the ASENTO. Cut along the red doted lines. Then reinstall the trim. 3. Drill a ¼-inch hole in the trim support, then install the provided seat trim # EV-COLC15L-05 with the provided Christmas tree and the self-tapping screw at the back.
- Page 10 4. Remove the b pillar trim. 5. Remove the seat belt tensioner bolt.
- Page 11 6. Remove the rear seat bolt mounting bolts. 7. Install the b pillar adapter # EV-COLC15R-02 by drilling the corresponding holes and fixing with the provided 3/16 x 11/16 pop rivets. 8. Remove the top halve of the b pillar trim from the bottom halve.
- Page 12 9. The lower half of the b pillar trim will have to be modified to allow the ASENTO to fit. Cut out a notch at the bottom of the b pillar. Follow the measurements and the provided stencil. 2 inches 91/2 inches 5/8 inches...
- Page 13 10. Install the provided pointed allen screw into the threaded hole on the b-pillar adapter. Take the b- pillar trim, install it onto the b-pillar and tap it onto the pointed allen screw to mark the point that the b-pillar will have to be drilled and then remove the allen screw. A 3/4 hole will have to be drilled to allow the b pillar adapter to pass through the plastic.
- Page 14 13. Install the provided fabric cover # EV-COLC15B-04. Line up the two holes with the rear seat mounting. 14. Install the ASENTO floor adapter bracket # EV-COLC15R-01 using the OEM bolts.
- Page 15 15. Reinstall the b pillar trim. 16. Install the ASENTO using the 3/8x1’’1/4 bolt and nut at the bottom and the # EV- COLC15R-02 b pillar bracket with 3/8x3/4 bolt and the 3/8x1’’bolt.
- Page 16 17. Connect the ASENTO control box to the ASENTO. Connect the control box to the pendant and to the 12-volt power supply. Then attach the control box under the seat in a place where it cannot be damaged by the seat moving. Place the hand pendant in a place convenient to the client.
- Page 17 19. Install the transfer board by sliding it onto the chrome shaft of the ASENTO. Make sure that it slides all the way onto the shaft. Final Inspection: Make sure all bolts are all properly fastened. Make sure that ASENTO works well with and without a passenger. ...
- Page 18 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION FOR ASENTO 1. Thread the lead power cable (red +) under the doorstep molding and through the firewall. WARNING: Pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing. 2. Install the circuit breaker near the battery and then connect the battery to the circuit breaker.

NOTE: The surface must be clean, dry and at ambient temperature for the sticker to stick to the surface.
