Cleaning

Please be sure to use only genuine
Mercedes-Benz replacement seat covers,
as the seat cover is important to the proper
functioning of the system. A replacement
is available at your Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre.

The child seat must not be used without the
seat cover.
• The cover can be removed and washed
with a mild detergent using the washing
machine's cycle for delicate items at
30 °C. Please observe the instructions
on the washing label of the cover. The
colours of the cover may fade if washed
at more than 30 °C. Do not spin, and
never dry in an electric tumble dryer
(the fabric may separate from the pad-
ding).
• The plastic parts can be cleaned using
soapy water. Do not use aggressive
cleaning agents (such as solvents).

1. Unhook the cover hook 13 of the
backrest 2.

2. Unhook the elastic loops 12 of the
seat cushion 1.

3. Unhook the buttonholes 17 of the
backrest 3.
You can now pull the cover off.

Re-fitting the cover

Proceed in the reverse order as for remo-
ving the cover.

Push the axis cover 16 under the seat cus-
hion cover 1 in such a way that it rests on
the plastic surface.
