WARNING
G
Never use the child seat without the seat
cover. Use an original Mercedes-Benz seat
cover, since it is an integral part of the child
seat and its statutory approval. Approval is
invalidated as soon as you make
modifications to the child seat.
Your child is not sufficiently secured in a
child seat without a seat cover. Your child
may therefore not be restrained and may
be seriously or even fatally injured in the
event of an accident, abrupt braking
maneuver or a sudden change in direction.
Replacement covers can be obtained from
your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
Seat covers can be removed and machine-
washed using mild detergent in a gentle cycle
at 86 °F (30 °C). Please observe the
instructions on the seat cover washing labels.
Caution Washing the seat covers above
86 °F (30 °C) may lead to the fabric cover
losing its color.
Caution Spin cycles and drying in an electric
laundry dryer may lead to the fabric cover
becoming detached from the padding.
The plastic parts can be cleaned using soapy
water. Do not use strong cleaning products
(e.g. solvents).
The belts of the child seat can be wiped with
a soap solution when installed.
