Adjusting the child seat

The child seat consists of a seat cushion 1
and a backrest 2 with an adjustable head-
rest 3. This combination gives your child
the desired protection and comfort.
The backrest 2 is connected to the seat
cushion 1 by an articulated axis 4. The
backrest 2 of the child seat can be adjus-
ted to any inclination of the vehicle seat.
Outside of the vehicle the backrest 2 is
held vertically by a small detent.

Do not use the child seat when it is free stan-
ding, even to test it out.
Caution! The backrest may tip backward. Al-
ways place the child seat on the vehicle seat
before having your child sit down in it.
When folding up the backrest, nothing must
be between the backrest and the seat cus-
hion in the area of the articulated axis.
Caution! You or your child could trap your fin-
gers, injuring them.

Adjusting the height of the headrest

A correctly adjusted headrest 3 ensures
that the diagonal seat belt section 5 is op-
timally positioned, and gives your child the
desired protection and comfort. You can
engage the height of the headrest 3 in ele-
ven positions.
