• Is there a buildup of dust on the air intake for dust/particle sensor or
the surrounding area?
¼ Vacuum off any dust from the air intake using a vacuum cleaner.
• Is the cover of the air intake for dust/particle sensor removed?
¼ Attach the cover securely.
• Is the dust/particle sensor lens dirty?
¼ Wipe off the dirt on the lens with a dry cotton swab, etc.
• Is the pre-filter dirty?
¼ Clean it.
• Was a strong odor already present at the time you plugged in the
power supply plug?
¼ The sensitivity of the odor sensor will be determined by odor levels in
the first minute after the power supply plug is inserted.
If you remove the power supply plug when the air is clean (odor-free),
wait at least 5 seconds, then reinsert the power supply plug and start
operation, the reference odor level that determines the sensitivity of the
odor sensor will be adjusted.
• Did you press and hold
2 seconds?
¼ Even if the dust collection filter is replaced, the filter replacement lamp
will not turn off unless
for about 2 seconds.
• Are the carbon filter and carbon filter unit attached?
¼ Attach the carbon filter, then insert the carbon filter unit all the way.
• Are the carbon filter and carbon filter unit attached?
¼ Unplug the power supply plug, attach the carbon filter, insert the carbon
filter unit all the way, and then restart operation.
• Is it installed in a location where the airflow cannot reach, or are there
obstacles around it?
¼ Choose a location where there are no obstacles and the airflow coming
out of the unit can reach all areas of the room.
• Is the filter replacement lamp lit or blinking?
¼ Replace the dust collection filter.
• Is the carbon filter dirty?
¼ Clean it.
• Is the room temporarily filled with strong odors due to something
such as many people smoking or cooking?
¼ The odor will gradually decrease as the unit operates.
• Did you move the unit to another room?
¼ Odor from the room the unit was previously in may still be present.
Keep operating until the odor disappears.
• Is there anything in the room that constantly produces odors?
(Paint, new furniture, wallpaper, aerosols, cosmetics, chemicals and
pharmaceuticals)
¼ As continuously emitted odors cannot be completely eliminated, you
should use a ventilator at the same time or run the unit in a well-
ventilated room until the odor disappears.
• If an odor comes out of the air outlet when operation is started, set the
airflow rate to "Turbo" and continue operating until the odor disappears.
