4. Handling Procedure

WARNING
Unqualified person must not operate the forklift.
To operate this forklift, "forklift operation training course completion" qualification is required. If an
unqualified person operates the forklift, collision and overturn accidents may occur, resulting in serious
injury.
Remove the key when the forklift is left unused.
When the forklift is left unused, remove the key from the key switch, and keep it. If the key is left in the
switch, an authorized person or a person who has not been familiarized with operation of this forklift may
operate the forklift, resulting in an accident.
Be sure to conduct preoperational inspection.
Conduct preoperational inspection before using the forklift every day. If the inspection is omitted, a
failure of the forklift can be ignored during use, resulting in an accident. Details of the inspection are
described on p. 46.
ON
Turn ON the key switch.
Turn the key switch clockwise.
The battery charge indicator lamp lights, and the
switch is turned ON.
