DRIVING OPERATION

BRAKES

Front and rear brake
Turn the throttle grip fully in direction (b).
Pull the front and rear brakes at the same time,
increase the brake pressure evenly.
WARNING
Avoid abrupt or sharp braking. You could
skid.
Level crossings, tram tracks, steel plates in
construction areas and manhole covers are
particularly dangerous when wet. Reduce
your speed and cross these hazards with
extreme caution.
Remember that braking is more difficult on
wet roads.
When going downhill, please drive slowly.
Braking when going downhill is particularly
difficult.

PARKING

To park, switch off the engine using the ignition lock, place
the vehicle on the main stand or side stand. Remove the
key.

FIRST MAINTENANCE

Maintenance after the first 1,000 km is the most
important. By then, all parts have been run in.
Therefore, all parts and components must be
readjusted and all fasteners tightened during this
maintenance. Careful maintenance after the first
1,000 km ensures the best performance of your
vehicle and prolongs its life.
NOTE
Maintenance at 1,000 km must be carried out
according to the contents given in the section
"Service and maintenance".
