Setting power-off period

The transceiver can be set to turn OFF automatically
after being activated via the power-on timer. The
power-off period can be set to 5–120 min. in 5 min.

q If the start up screen is not selected (if [F-5]'s func-
tion is [EXIT]), push [F-5] one or more times to exit.

Timer operation

q Preset the power-on time and power-off period as
described previously.
w Push [POWER] momentarily to turn the timer func-
tion ON.
- The [POWER] light lights when the timer function is
ON.

e Push [POWER] for 2 sec. to turn the power OFF.
- The [POWER] light lights continuously.
TIME] to enter timer set
r Set the desired power-off periods using the tuning
dial.
- "TIMER – set
push [SET]" blinks.

SET] to enter the set time.

EXIT] twice to exit timer set mode.

r When the set time arrives, the power is automati-
cally turned ON.
t The transceiver emits 10 beeps and turns OFF
after the power-off period elapses.
- The [POWER] light blinks while beeping.
- Push [POWER] momentarily to cancel the power-off
timer, if desired.
