First Use

Step 2 – Inserting the Sensing Plug

– Installing the Safety Cap

lide the safety cap completely over the Sensing Plug. (See Figure 3) The safety cap prevents any
accidental release of the Sensing Plug from the QD coupler during installation of the Quick Detect
onto the vehicle.
