* The setting parameters are retained in the CPU unit by the battery even during power interruptions.
3-6
±100 ppm FS/°C max.
For 1/12,000 (voltage or current input) temperature input, refer to Input Types and
Input Ranges on page 3-7.
Voltage or current input:
−5% to 105% of the input range set by scaling
Temperature input:
±20 °C or ±20 °F in relation to the high or low limit for each sensor range.
Voltage input: ±15 V, current input: 30 mA
Temperature input: 10 kΩ max., voltage input: 1 MΩ max., current input: 250 Ω (fixed)
30 min
Internal sensors are used for cold junction compensation.
• Sensing method: 3-wire method
• Allowable lead wire resistance: 20 Ω max. per wire
• Input detection current: 1.1 mA
250 ms/ 4 inputs
Conversion time + CPU Unit one task period
An input error can be detected for each input (excluding voltage or current input of 0
to 20 mA, 0 to 5 V and 0 to 10 V).
Detection level
• Temperature input: When the upper or lower limit of each sensor range is exceeded
by 20°C or 20°F
• 1 to 5 V: Input signal < 0.3 V
• 4 to 20 mA: Input signal < 1.2 mA
Input Error Flag turns ON when a disconnection occurs or the input range is
exceeded.
The process value overrange direction for when an input error occurs can be speci-
fied.
Two process value alarms (L, H), hysteresis, and ON-delay Timer (0 to 60 s) can be
set.
Process value alarm bits can be copied to selectable addresses of Expansion Opera-
tion Data.
Between inputs and internal signals, and between inputs: Power supply = Trans-
former, Signal = Photocoupler
20 MΩ (at 500 V DC) between all inputs
Between all inputs: 500 V AC, at 50 or 60 Hz, for 1 min, leakage current 1 mA max.
Terminal block (detachable)
Three LED indicators on front panel (for normal operation, errors detected at the Uni-
versal Input Unit, and errors detected at the CPU Unit).
Set by rotary switches on front panel, from 0 to 95.
5 VDC at 320 mA max.
31 × 90 × 65 mm (W × H × D)
150 g max.
