7.5 SLMP (client)

PROBLEM FACED
Unnable to connect to
the SLMP device from
the JC-IO.
CHECKS TO BE DONE
Is the LAN cable breakdown or dis-
connected from the HUB.
Has the IP address been set by manu-
ally?
Has the same network address been
specified in the IP address of the JC-
IO and SLMP device?
Are the IP address of the server de-
vice registered by JCIOCFG and the
IP address of the JC-IO same?
Is the IP address set to the SLMP
device?
METHOD OF HANDLING
Connect the LAN cable securely.
Check the connecting LED of the HUB.
Set the IP address manually.
(Refer to 4.3.2 Network Setting)
Check the network address.

JC-IO: 192.168.0.1
PC: 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Check the IP address.
Refer to 4.4.3 C (Connection))
Enable the server function of the SLMP
device.
