Note 1.
The operation of sounder bases is controlled by
RPHOTO
the Single Station system option. See Chapter 7
of this manual for additional information.
Note 2.
A multi-detector base, coupled with a combina-
RPHOTO
tion photo/heat sensor, uses two addresses. Make
sure to set the address on the base to an even
number, and do not set any other device to the
IPHOTO
address that you set plus one. The even number
represents the Photo portion of the combination
sensor. The address plus one represents the heat
SPHOTO
portion of the sensor.
Note 3.
The HEAT, RHEAT, IHEAT, and SHEAT func-
tion types set the heat detector to a fixed sensitiv-
ity of 135°F. An alarm is initiated when the
HEAT
temperature rises beyond this temperature.
OHEAT
The OHEAT, ROHEAT, IOHEAT, and SOHEAT
function types set the heat detector for rate-of-rise
RHEAT
operation. With this hardware type, if the temper-
ROHEAT
ature rises beyond 135°F or if the temperature
rises at a rate of 15°F per minute, an alarm is ini-
IHEAT
tiated.
