25-Hour Engine Inspection Checklist for IO-390-D Series Engines (Cont.)

General
NOTICE: If the fuel controls were set to idle 50 to 100 rpm higher than usual on new, rebuilt or
overhauled engines for the first 25 hours of operation, adjust the fuel controls to the
usual idle speed between 600 and 700 rpm.
Adjust the fuel controls to the
usual setting after the first 25
hours of operation.
Complete another Operational
Ground Check in Chapter 72-00.
