Installation Instructions

The installation of the Wallbox should be undertaken by a qualified electrician in accordance with the
applicable standards and regulations. Preferably the installation should be undertaken by a
Wallbox trained installer. Local regulations on electrical installations, fire prevention, and accidents
as well as emergency exits implemented from installation must be taken into account.
Please contact an electrician or arrange installation at your premises with your local distributor
PRECAUTIONS
Take special care when selecting the mounting surface. It must be able to adequately
support the weight of the charger and withstand the mechanical forces associated to
charger use.
The power supply connection must comply with the standards and regulations for cabling
and building infrastructure.
The Wallbox charger must be permanently connected to the electrical earth of the
installation.
Before installing or cleaning your Wallbox make sure that the power supply is switched off
and there is no power in the system.
The charger must be installed in a sufficiently ventilated location to ensure it remains cool.
Always bear in mind the operating temperatures of the device.
It is recommended to avoid installation in areas where there is direct sunlight to prevent
overheating and deterioration of the device.
Do not install your Wallbox charger near:
Flammable, explosive, or combustible materials.
Chemicals or solvents.
Gas pipes or steam outlets.
Heat emitters such as radiators or batteries.
Areas prone to flooding, running water or humid environments.

Electrical Protection

• The power supply line must be wired to an existing installation and be in accordance with local
regulations.
• The charger must be electrically protected by installing externally a Miniature Circuit Breaker
(MCB) and a Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB).
MCB: maximum value according to the maximum output current of the load point.
RCCB: According to local regulations, Type A or Type B.
