GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1. Application
The submersible electropumps 3TP series have been designed to pump clean water from
underground for private houses, irrigation systems, transferring water to tanks, increasing
pressure in heating pumps, fountains, etc.
Please note:
The maximum sand content in the water must not be superior to 50g/m³ and the maximum
temperature of the pumped liquid must not rise above 35°C.

The present installation manual provides basic instructions that must be followed during
installation, use and pump maintenance.
2.1. Safety symbols used in this manual.
The safety instructions used in this manual, if not observed, can cause harm to people.
They are marked with the following symbols:

2.2. Qualified personnel
The installation, maintenance and repair of the pump must be carried out by qualified
technicians.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

When opening the casing or tranporting the pump, always make sure that
ATTENTION
the power cable is not damaged. Never lift or pull the pump by the cable!
Avoid hitting the pump when it is being transported or moved. The 3TP pump series is supplied
with casing that protects it from damage due to bending, transport or storage. Before opening
the casing, always make sure that it is not damaged or wet.
When the pump is stored in the warehouse, make sure that it is not bent in any way by placing
the whole unit squarely on the shelves. To avoid risks, the storage and transportation
temperatures must be between –20°C and +50°C.

4.1. Introduction
The 3TP pump is a residential water supply system which uses advanced electronics in the
inverter to improve the pump characteristics.
Main features:
• Gradual start-up and stop in order to reduce water hammering. There is no high
voltage at ignition (soft start)
